How to Determine Your Ring Size
There are a few different methods you can use to find out your perfect ring size. If you already own a ring in the correct size, you can physically measure it or compare it against our ring size guide. If not, you can measure your finger to determine your size. Determining your ideal ring size can be done through methods below.
Method 1: Measuring an Existing Ring
- Locate a ring that comfortably fits the finger where you plan to wear your new ring.
- Measure the inner diameter of the ring using a ruler or measuring tape. Ensure your ruler has millimeter (mm) markings. Place your ring on the ruler and measure the inside of the circle, the part that touches your finger.
- Utilize our Ring Size Chart to convert your diameter measurement into the correct ring size.
Method 2: Measuring Your Finger
- Cut a piece of string or paper to a length of approximately 10 centimeters (cm).
- Wrap the string or paper around the part of your finger where you want to wear the ring. Ensure it's comfortably snug, neither too tight nor too loose.
- Mark the point where the string or paper overlaps with a pen.
- Lay the string or paper against a ruler or tape measure, measuring the length (in millimeters) from the end to the marked point.
- This measurement represents your finger circumference. Refer to our Ring Size Chart to determine your ring size based on this measurement.
Expert Tips for Measuring Your Ring Size:
- Always double-check your measurements to ensure accuracy.
- Keep in mind that your finger size can vary slightly throughout the day, over time, and with temperature changes. For the most accurate results measure your actual finger in the afternoon when your hands are warm. If you're between two ring sizes, opt for the larger size to ensure a comfortable fit.
- Measure the specific finger on which you plan to wear the ring, or use a ring you already wear on that same finger for reference. Keep in mind that your ring size may differ between fingers and hands.
